Eats

Saturday I started the day visiting the New York Public Library for my second volunteer event with New York Cares. I was paired up with a senior - Katie - and my job was to teach her anything she needed help with concerning computers and the internet.

So I helped her set up an email account and taught her the basics of using email (checking it, replying, composing, etc.) I gave her my number so that I can meet up with her again for more lessons. I think when I see her next- we will be setting up a facebook page :] excitttinnnggg !

She was really cute- but a little paranoid about me knowing too much about her from the session (first and last name, her email address, etc.) - I assured her that anybody with M&M earrings can not possibly be a threat to anyone. :] She liked that.

Then I stopped for a snack- I got a plum and a peach. yumm

On the way home,  I officially looked like a crazy person on the train by falling asleep and doing a little sleep-talking... Sitting there all quiet with my eyes closed, then suddenly I blurt out "YES!" yup.... people looked at me. I just went back to sleep though. hahaha

Dinner time! Mixed vegetables :] So good.

Once Danielle got home from working all day for the I8NY guys again- we went to The Standard Hotel Biergarten to meet up with some California friends that are visiting. They took a while to arrive.. so we had a couple beers and hung out with some random people next to us until they showed up.

The girls finally arrived! Nicole, Chelsea, and Becca. We all had so much fun together..

We then went around trying to find a place to eat. We were right across the street at this pizza place, when we saw this bar/restaurant that looked interesting.. It just said "EATS" in the window, and so we had to check it out..

All of us got these HUGE burgers. They were delicious! See- Danielle can barely hold the whole thing up at once!!

We all had a really great time, these girls were a blast to hang out with! We hung out till about 3 am- and then we parted ways.

Since Kyle wasn't here to let us fall asleep on the train ride home- I had to be the one to watch for our stop while little Danielle rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep :] So cute. Got home around 4:15am. Very good night.
