Botanical Garden

Kauai Adventures: Day 8

This is our last full day of our trip as we will be traveling all day tomorrow. We decided to check out the botanical garden as our last big touristy act. We were not disappointed at all... Except for the fact that we got eaten up by mosquito's towards the end...

Then we went out for hot dogs and shaved ice! I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of our hot dogs... but I was able to get a picture of our shaved ice before devouring it. IT WAS SO GOOD. I got the root beer float one (the one with blue in the middle).

The rest of the night we chilled out around our condo. We walked down to the beach and watched our last sunset in Kauai together. It was a really great, relaxing night. None of us want to leave. I'm thinking about telling my boss I got sick and had to go to the hospital and can't come into work on Monday... half of that is true after all.. will she buy it? :)

Snorkeling Tunnels Beach

Kauai Adventures: Day 7

We drove to the north side of the island right next to Hanalei Bay to a beautiful beach call "Tunnels Beach." Evan spotted this neat cave right next to where we parked, so he went in it and took a few photos...

This is Tunnels Beach. So so gorgeous. We all were so happy to have come all this way to get here as it was so pretty and fun.

Great day. We all had so much fun... This was by far the best snorkel spot we had been to.

Afterwards, Evan and I did a little bar hopping for drinks and appetizers.  It was all sooooo yummy :)
