All my bags are packed.
I'm ready to go.
It was my very last day in the big city.. I'm not even sure how I should end such an epic journey...
I know that moving to New York wasn't my dream. I was following somebody with a dream, and with life goals. She says she wouldn't have done this without me, but I say what would I have done without her?
I just graduated, I didn't have a job lined up, and I didn't seem to have any dreams of my own. We both needed this experience for very different reasons. I learned so much about myself and about life through this trip. I got so much closer to God, my relationship with Evan got stronger, and my friendship with Danielle became unbreakable and everlasting.
Would I ever move back though?
Heeeecccckkkk Noooooo!
It was just way too cold for me. But I will definitely be visiting as much as I can. :] Anyways, back to my last day-
We only had a few hours left with each other. So we used the first two to get rid of our hangovers from the last night, and we used the last one to finally eat burgers at this place right around the corner that we have been meaning to go to..
The Picket Fence. Bomb
Danielle and I then traveled for 2 hours to get to the airport, where we said our goodbyes and gave each other one last hug..
After what seemed like FOREVER, I finally arrived home at 9pm (but it was midnight to me) and Evan was there waiting for me :] When I got to his car there was a dozen red roses on the seat. ( awww :] )
POP QUIZ:
What is ALWAYS the first thing you must do when you get back to the west coast after a ridulously long vacation?
If you didn't get that answer right then you must not be a true California girl like me. Oh IN N Out how I have missed you soo much <333
The. End.
Prologue
Although my journey to the big city is now complete, my adventures will continue. My experiences in life are not over, they are just beginning. This blog has a title. And that title implies that there is not only one place I will be going in life- but many. This blog is going to continue to show my devoted readers (mainly mom and grandma) where my life takes me. Starting with a road trip to northern California..San Fransisco, here i come!
